We pride ourselves on providing the ultimate experience for customers from start to finish when they look to Joe Rizza Ford of Orland Park to make their new or pre-owned vehicle purchase. Compliments to our hard work and efforts are appreciated as we make strides to improve our service with each and every customer. A recent customer from Iowa was kind enough to share his experience and testimonial to our service.
Dear Joe,
This letter is written to address the exceptional personal and professional demeanor of Ramy Betouni on the sale of my newly purchased Chrysler 300 Limited. I am from Pella, Iowa home of Corporate Office of Pella Corporation. For quite some time I have been looking for a pre-owned Chrysler 300 Limited Signature Series with all of the bells and whistles. I found one through Joe Rizza and spoke to Ramy.
I have had very poor experiences with “used car” salespersons until I met Ramy. We discussed my interest over the phone, agreed upon a day and time that I would drive to Orland Park and test drive the car. The entire experience changed my attitude about purchasing a pre-owned vehicle.
As a member of your team, I want to personally thank Ramy for his personal and professional abilities. His honesty, authenticity, knowledge of the car, and handling the transaction was valuable and instrumental in helping me to purchase the car.
Thank you once again,
Matthew J. Burch, R.C.C.

Joe Rizza has again received Ford Motor Company's President's Award. The most prestigious award that Ford gives its dealers. It recognizes excellence in customer satisfaction for Ford Sales and Service. Ford Motor Company's General Zone Manager Jeff Terlep expressed his excitement. "Ford Motor Company is extremely proud of Joe Rizza's accomplishments in all 3 of his Ford and Lincoln, Mercury dealerships," stated Mr. Terlep. Only 5% of all Ford Dealers nation wide receive this high honor.

There are several metrics to determine if a manufacturer is producing high-quality vehicles. J.D. Power surveys and Consumer Reports are useful consumer tools, but one statistic tells the automakers how well they're doing perhaps more than any other: warranty costs. At the turn of the 21st century, Ford was dumping billions of dollars into warranty vehicle repair, but the Blue Oval says that recent quality gains has cut warranty costs by $1.2 billion over the past two years. In fact, since 2004, warranty repair work has been reduced by 50%. Amazingly, the warranty cost reductions come as Ford has increased warranty coverage from 3 years and 36,000 miles to 5 years or 60,000 miles.
Ford says it has improved quality by scrutinizing every part of the vehicle creation process. Computer-aided design and engineering is cutting cost while also delivering more precise data, and the Blue Oval's global product development system delivers standardized engineering. Ford has improved its processes at the plant level as well. Each of the automaker's facilities has a variability reduction team that weeds out oddball processes, removing the chance for error.
18 of Ford's 24 models have fewer Things Gone Wrong than the year before, and every vehicle since 2005 has better quality than its predecessor. Ford promises that new models like the 2010 Taurus will continue the tradition of improved quality, giving the Blue Oval a solid shot at passing the Japanese competition in J.D. Power and Consumer Reports. The result for Ford is much-needed cost savings, but the larger victory comes from the fact that customers are spending less time in service and more time on the road. In the market for a fuel-sipping mid-size sedan? Now, and for a limited time only, buyers of the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid will be eligible for the $3,400 federal tax credit for hybrid vehicles. Late last year, Ford hit the magic 60,000 limit on individual hybrid sales that's been imposed by the Feds, so the tax credit for all of the Blue Oval's hybrid machines will be halved beginning on April 1st. Beginning in October, the credit will again be cut in half to $850 and the entire amount will be gone starting January 1st of 2010.
Tax credit or not, the 2010 Fusion Hybrid's EPA rating of 41 mpg city and 36 mpg highway bests the Toyota Camry Hybrid by a whopping eight mpg in the city and two mpg on the highway. For what it's worth, hybrid tax credits for Toyota (and Honda, for that matter) have already expired.
